To reduce gender-based violence by raising the awareness of vulnerable communities and NGOs on GBV and the important of the international 16 days of activism campaign on gender-based violence.

Project Summary
The Youth Council is a network of youth initiatives, including male and female graduates of the Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF), which represents a strong, educated Yemeni youth nucleus capable of contributing to building its society towards a better world. It was established in 2010 and focuses on supporting youth issues in various social, economic, and political fields.
Project Activities:
Psychological discharge of people of determination by the Association of future's Ambition through the work of a celebratory event in which the Association offers some activities, competitions, and sample prizes in addition to the distribution of t-shirts and balloons in orange (Anti-Violence Color) Hence the slogan of the 16 Days of Activism against women at future's Ambition Society for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Women (They have a special school for girls with disabilities and more than 20 female students with disabilities over the age of 18.
A workshop to raise awareness of gender-based violence and the impact of the coronavirus crisis on the gender of 10 community-based organizations in Mukalla (20 members of community-based organizations).
A celebratory event against violence against women, during which the following activities took place:
Awareness-raising for 20 students from 10 to 18 years of the Ambition Association for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Women in Gender-based Violence.
20 T-shirts were distributed to the same female students in orange (anti-violence color) with the slogan of the 16 Days Anti-Violence Campaign
A psychological discharge session for 20 students (who were sensitized to gender-based violence) with a social worker to hear and support them psychologically.
Distribution of orange balloons and gifts for 55 students and 5 students with extraordinary tenderness.
A workshop to raise awareness of gender-based violence and the impact of the coronavirus crisis on gender.
