During 2004, the GWCC implemented the First Democracy Project, two instalments annually until 2005, aimed mainly at creating an opportunity for girls; To express their views in various fields in gender, and to develop issues of discussion in human rights democracy, they have the right to express and defend their rights. The project was implemented with the support of the National Fund for Democracy (NED). Shawqi Al Qadi, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Malik Al Motawakel were trainers within the Democracy Program.
