Emergency Life-Saving Food Assistance

Objective:

 

To increase access to immediate life-saving emergency food assistance to 700 HHs; 4900 individuals (960 men, 1000 women, 1440 boys,1500 girls) of the most vulnerable acutely food insecure IDPs, newly displaced and living with host families in Al Mina district of Al Hudaydah governorate, allowing them to meet their basic food needs, adhering to FSAC minimum standards through form of cash or value vouchers for 6 rounds to the same household.

 

Cluster objectives: Increase access to food for highly vulnerable families across the country.

 

Strategic Response Plan (SRP) objectives: SO2: Help millions of destitute Yemenis overcome hunger by providing food and nutrition assistance, increasing household incomes and advocating for measures that bring economic stability.

 

Objective 3: Strengthen capacity of local partners and targeted communities including female and male on preparedness and response to humanitarian needs while being informed of  international humanitarian principles, law and standards.
