Project Goal:

Empowering young boys and girls through knowledge and life skills, and providing them with self-life skills, according to their needs.

Project Duration: 14 Month

Targeted Areas:  Sana’a – Ibb – Hajjah - Amant Alasima - Alhodaidah.

Targeted Group:  Adolescents, adolescent girls, married girls, youth mentors, parents & community leaders, social works, teachers, trainers ,Peer Educators, community youth initiatives.

Implemented Organization: Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF)

Partner:   United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF)

Project Summary:

Through this proposal, YLDF will contribute to the Global initiative on eliminating child marriage by implementing the joint UNFPA-UNICEF strategy for Yemen and the commitments articulated in the 2018-2019 joint work plan. The project will build on the shared experience of both organizations (YLDF&UNICEF) taking into account lessons learned, good practices, and areas of improvement.
