Project Goal: Increase levels of community participation of female and male university graduates.

Project Summary
In cooperation with British council Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF) is conducting Active Citizens program.
The project targets 15 youth to enhance their knowledge in Active Citizen through two main outcomes including; a) Active Citizens Training b) Social Activates in communities.
Specific objective:
- increase the contribution of individuals who are influential within their community towards achieving sustainable development both locally and globally.
- provides youth with tools and support to better understand how to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- encourages peer-to-peer relations across cultural, geographic and political boundaries via a lively online social network of participants, as well as occasional international exchange visits.
Project components:
- Active Citizens Training :
Training for 15 youth(9 from Sana’a (Shoob,Maeen districts) and 6 from Alhodaydah (Almena districts) in Active Citizens.
- Forming youth initiatives to implement community activities:
It will be formed four youth initiatives of the trainees will be planning and implementation of community activities in the four distracts in Sana'a and Hodeidah.
- Implementation of community activities:
It will be implemented in four community activities (two activities in Sanaa, two activities in the Hodeidah) to promote active citizenship and peace-building in the local community.
