Project Goal:

 To ensure inclusive & gender sensitive peace building through strengthened & effective civil society and community initiatives to represent the needs and voices of Yemeni women affected by 
conflict in Yemen.

Project Duration: Two Years.

Targeted Areas:  Sana’a-Hodaidah- Aden.

Targeted Group: Women.

Implemented Organization:  Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF).

Partner: Oxfam.

Project Summary:

It is important for women to actively and effectively participate in governmental and non-governmental policy-building processes, and to fully respect women's needs and rights. Therefore, we must work to increase the capacities and influence of formal and informal feminist civil society organizations as an effective tool for communication, raising the voices of women affected by conflict, and supporting the effective participation of women in preventing and mitigating conflict and conflict at all levels of the peacebuilding process through broad and strong alliances to maintain Women's rights and achievements and ensuring their sustainability.
