Volunteer Program

Since 2016, Young Leadership Development Foundation has been implementing a volunteering program to increase the knowledge and young skills required for employment opportunities and help them access training opportunities, to increase the number of young volunteers in civil society, and to enrich volunteers with the concepts and basics of volunteering, customer service, gender and human rights and how to apply for any job. It aims to improve youth employability by providing 4 months' on-the-job training at the Young Leadership Development Foundation and providing mentoring by senior staff of the Young Leadership Development Foundation in Sana 'a.

 

The Young Leadership Development Foundation is proud of the increasing number of male & female volunteers, which has contributed positively to its programs and continues to support young women and men to join it as volunteers, volunteers, trainees and trainees to communicate its mission, targeting volunteers aged 18 to 30.

 

To encourage of male & female volunteers, YLDF selects " Male & female volunteers of the Month according to a set of criteria announced on the Foundation's website. Volunteers attend all the meetings of the Foundation as well as their monthly meetings to follow their development. WFP has proven successful in providing volunteers with the basics of coordination and management of small projects and activities and engaged volunteers in the early stages of their careers in non-profit institutional work where they graduate after acquiring experiences in the basics of coordination, project management, planning, budgeting, writing project proposals, writing reports and archiving, Training them in community participation, volunteering fundamentals, customer service and teamwork fundamentals, human rights fundamentals, gender fundamentals and skills foundations for job interviews and CV writing ", and prioritizes attending training courses offered by YLDF, At the end of the training period, trainees receive an experience certificate that benefits them in seeking employment or self-employment and in other training and apprenticeship opportunities for young women. Young Leadership Development Foundation volunteers are given priority access to any of the Foundation's program that may receive their attention when posting jobs.
