Summary: The Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Sughair Jaaman, inaugurated the distribution of agricultural inputs to small-scale farmers in Raydah and Jabal Ayal Yazid directorates. This initiative is part of the Emergency Food Security and Early Recovery Project, implemented by the Youth Leadership Development Foundation in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe and with support from Caritas Germany. The project includes the distribution of 116 manual plows, 54 Livestocks, 38 water transportation networks, 6 Seeds, and 3 drip irrigation systems.

During the event, the Governor of Amran and other officials from the governorate were briefed on the projects implemented by the foundation in the two directorates. These projects involve the establishment of community-based assets for agriculture and livestock, as well as the rehabilitation of wells and the construction of water storage tanks.

The Governor of Amran praised the support and encouragement provided by the Youth Leadership Development Foundation to agriculture and farmers. He emphasized the importance of expanding the scope of interventions to enhance the agricultural sector and achieve food security and self-sufficiency.
