"Young Leadership Development Foundation", in partnership with Diakoni Ketstrovenhelf and with the support of German Caritas and Diakoni Ketstrovenhilf, launched the Emergency Food Security and Early Recovery Project in Amran governorate. The project's strategy is to use cash assistance as immediate assistance to the most vulnerable, and the food-for-assets/cash-for-assets methodology is also used. The project will provide temporary employment opportunities for more than 240 unskilled workers. The project is based on supporting rural communities to maintain and improve infrastructure such as irrigation systems, soil conservation, water collection and reducing the impact of flood and flood risks.
