The Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF) visited a number of shops in Hadramout to purchase equipment and supplies for small professional projects such as sewing, hairdressing and pastries. This step comes within the second phase of the Sustainable Opportunities for Livelihood and Employment Project, which is providing vocational portfolios to 80% of the trainees in the first phase, who were trained in vocational skills to start their own projects and empower them economically. It is noteworthy that the (SOLVE) project targets 195 displaced women and girls in Hadramout governorate in its three tracks: entrepreneurship, vocational training and employment. It aims to promote recovery in the displaced communities. It is held in partnership with the United Nations Women and the Women, Peace and Humanitarian Affairs Fund and in coordination with the Executive Unit for Camp Management in the governorate.
